Ask a question about this product

Nicorette® Microtab is the first sublingual (under the tongue) nicotine replacement tablet. It is most suitable if you are someone who wants a very discreet and flexible form of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) to control cravings and help you quit.

How does it work?

When you use Nicorette® Microtab, nicotine is released and absorbed through the lining of your mouth into your body. This nicotine release helps you control your cravings for a cigarette. But unlike cigarettes, Nicorette® Microtab does not contain ingredients like tar and carbon monoxide, which could be harmful to you.

How do I use the Microtab?

Place 1 Microtab under your tongue and allow it to slowly dissolve.
Do not swallow or chew the Microtab.
How many Microtabs should I use?

Initially, you should use 1 tablet every 1-2 hours for at least 12 weeks. Although, the dose is individual and depends on how much nicotine you need to reduce the withdrawal symptoms.
After 12 weeks, you should gradually reduce the number of Microtabs you consume each day.
You should use no more than 40 tablets per day and use beyond 6 months is not recommended.
Note: For stronger cravings, 2 Microtabs can be placed under the tongue at the same time.

If you have any questions regarding the Nicorette® Microtab, please speak to your pharmacist.
