GlaxoSmithKline NZ Limited (GSK) would like to advise of a change in appearance for Augmentin 500mg tablets.

 The Augmentin 500mg tablets currently supplied by GSK are white to off-white, oval-shaped, film-coated tablets, debossed with "Augmentin" on one side. The new tablets will be very similar in appearance but will now be debossed with a scoreline and "AC" instead of "Augmentin" on one side. 

GSK will transition to the Augmentin tablets with the new appearance over the next few months. The change in appearance does not affect the efficacy or safety of Augmentin tablets.
