Pfizer has announced this week they will match the generic price of Aricept (donepezil hydrochloride) in the New Zealand market.
The main reason is because in April 2009, Mylan pharmaceutical previously Pacific pharma, launch their generic version of Aricept know as Donezil (donepezil hydrochloride) into New Zealand and virtually cutting the wholesale cost by half.
