Beclazone inhalers now CFC Free |

2 July 2009 From July 2009 Beclazone (Beclometasone dipropionate) CFC free will replace CFC containing Beclazone inhalers. CFC free inhalers is less envirronmetally damaging . Internationally CFC containing products are being gradually phased out. The propellant HFA-134A is used for CFC free inhalers in conjunction with ethanol as a co-solvent. Beclazone is a preventative corticosteroids for asthma patients and distributed by Airflow products NZ Ltd. Patients should expect a different feel and taste in the mouth. Patients are instructed to clean their Beclazone CFC free inhalers regularly atleast once a week, cleaning instructions included in the consumer product information leaflet in the pack. |
