Biocare and Dr Reddy's has release a new product into New Zealand aimed at gluten Intolerence market. Glutenzyme plus is a pre-cereal digesting enzyme complex which can help gluten intolerence patients to enjoy food again by helping to break dpwn the gluten that their body can't.
Glutenzyme Plus is suitable for vegetarians abd vegans because all enzymes are extracted from vegetable sources.
Contains:
1) Gluten protease to hydrolyse proteins specifically gluten found in wheat, barley,rye and oats.
2) Amylase for proper digestion of carbohydrates
3)Cellulase which helps digest fibre and cellulose in food
4)Lactobacillus brevis which is a lactic acid forming bacteria that may assist with the breakdown of gluten and other proteins in cereals.
5)Lactobacillus acidophillus to maintain a healthy balance of intestinal microflora as well as aiding digestion.
Simply take One capsule Glutenzyme Plus with any meal containing wheat,oats,barley and rye.
Not suitable for individuals with colitis,gastritis,gastritis due to pregnacy, ulcerative colitis of the stomach or colon.
Patients with Coeliac disease must considered other factors and avoidance of cereals containing gluten is recommended. |
