Pharmac wants to educate people about indigestion an alternative to Proton Pump Inhibitors. (PPI)
Here is some interesting statistics pointed out by Pharmac on the use of PPI
1) Proton pump inhibitors (PPI) has a growth rate of 16%.in the market
2. 220,000 people per year take PPI
3. 35,000 new patients being introduced to a PPI each year.

Pharmacy On Web believe this is a great initiative taken by Pharmac and we want to support it so that many kiwis can benefit from it as much as possible.

Pharmac, has provided us some samples of Ranitidine, a medicine which belongs to a group called (H2RA) to Pharmacy On web so that we may pass it on to our customers.

If you would like a FREE sample pack of Ranitidine please email us your name and address and we will send out a pack to you. Before you order a pack please read these important information and warnings from Pharmac first and if you are unsure then email our pharmacist at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Precautions:

If you are currently taking PPI then Ranitidine may help start a step-down regime for patients who would benefit from a lower dose of a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) or be able to be stepped down to an H2RA (H2 Receptor Antagonist).
If you are not currently on a PPI, then we suggest you see your GP first

Swallow one tablet whole, with a drink of water as soon as you have the symptoms. Repeat dose if the symptoms return. Don not take more than 2 tablets in 24 hours. If symptoms persist for more than 14 days or recur or worsen, please consult your doctor.
