Active Ingredients: Malathion 0.5% w/w.

Approved Indications: Treatment of scabies and headlice.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any ingredient.

Precautions: Avoid use on infants under 6 months. Avoid eye contact, wear protective gloves if in regular contact with Derbac-M.

Adverse Effects: Rarely, skin irritation.

Directions: For scabies treatment: Apply to the entire skin surface. For adults and children 2 years and over, apply only from the neck down. For children under 2 years apply a thin film to the scalp, face and ears as well as entire body. Avoid eyes and mouth. Leave on for 24 hours - do not wash or bathe. Reapply immediately to any area washed in this time. Wash off after 24 hours. Wash all clothing and bedding. Repeat 7 to 10 days later. For headlice treatment: Apply sufficient liquid to dry hair to cover scalp. Work through hair spreading evenly from roots to tips. Allow hair to dry naturally. After 12 hours shampoo normally and comb using a fine tooth comb.
